*Our Small Groups meet each Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
College students, young people early in their careers and single adults gather for themed Bible Study. Sometimes a book serves at the guide for the study. Other resources include video based media resources.
Bible Study Leader: Barbara Berryhill
Younger Married Adults, generally in their 20’s and early 30’s, explore the readings in the Revised Common Lectionary. This resource provides four Scripture readings that follow the Christian Calendar. The class is conversational in nature and many participants share in leading the discussion from week to week.
Bible Study Leader: Tommie Marshell
Young Married adults, generally in their later 30’s and 40’s, explore the readings of the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL). This resource provides four Scripture readings that follow the Christian Calendar. On occasion the class will select a subject for a series of weeks and utilize video based media to facilitate conversations on the chosen topic. Often these short study series grow out of conversations spurred by the Scriptures explored from the RCL. The format is facilitated discussions.
Bible Study Leader: Nathan Streber
Married Adults, generally in their 40’s and 50’s, explore the narrative, or story arc, of the Scriptures. Currently the group is connecting the familiar stories in the Old Testament with how they are utilized in the New Testament. The big question used to open up the relationship between these stories is, “What does it mean?” On other occasions the group has used a book that speaks to a subject deemed important or interesting to the Christian Life.
Bible Study Leader: Todd Littleton
Married Senior Adults, generally in their 60’s and older, study a book of the Bible. The group selects a Bible book for study and takes note of its history, author, and content and shared discussions around contemporary implications.
