Spread the Word . . . Clean Water is Good

Five water projects in one week!

Next March a group from Snow Hill will spend a week installing water collection tanks with filters in order to provide clean water for villages surrounding San Cristobal Alta Vera Paz, Guatemala. The Pokomchi are a small people group living in mountain villages.  Generally they are subsistence farmers. The mountainous region makes it hard to drill water wells. Filtration tanks have been designed to take advantage of the long rainy season. Those receiving one of these clean water systems participate in both the financial need and the labor required for installation. The project is truly a Team effort.

Each Team member is raising the money for their trip. Already they have raised a portion with a recent Garage Sale. Other events are planned.

We put together a way to get your friends involved in the project. Share this post so they will have the link to our Pure Charity Fundraiser. Once on our page they will find specific details and have the opportunity to help bring clean water which helps the overall health of those receiving the benefit of the projects.

Jesus invites people into his life and his way. He takes what is and points to the new way of the Kingdom of God.  Come see what this journey is all about!

One way to think about the mission of Jesus - He calls into question the way things are and points to the way things may be in the Kingdom of God.
