Snow Melts . . . Doors Open to Others

Last night Snow Hill resumed, “Wednesdays Are for Others.” The winter weather, complete with snow, gave way to more spring like temperatures. A great hot meal was prepared, boxes filled, and the clothes closet open for those in our area in need. We were glad to see our friends and find out how they fared during the extreme cold. One of our leaders remarked, “I have so missed people on Wednesday.” Good to be back with an opportunity to bless others.

Next week’s Wednesdays Are for Others will include our monthly Community of Hope Free Medical Clinic. We are grateful for ¬†our doctors and nurses and the great help they are with the medical needs present in our community.

Jesus invites people into his life and his way. He takes what is and points to the new way of the Kingdom of God.  Come see what this journey is all about!

One way to think about the mission of Jesus - He calls into question the way things are and points to the way things may be in the Kingdom of God.
