Psalms for the Week

Sometimes we face experiences we cannot explain. We may dismiss any "purpose" in them and assume, "that is just the way it is." We may squeeze every detail in hopes of unearthing some explanation. We may turn introspective or we may wonder where is God. The Psalms contain the vast array of human emotions. The Psalms of this week tend toward what we may consider the darker side of human emotion.

What would your thoughts be after reading Psalm 22 and Psalm 90:12-17?

Psalms for the Week

Consider the songs found in Psalm 26 and Psalm 8. What lines/themes stand out to you?

Psalms for the Week

Consider reading, reflecting and commenting on Psalm 23 and Psalm 89.

Jesus invites people into his life and his way. He takes what is and points to the new way of the Kingdom of God.  Come see what this journey is all about!

One way to think about the mission of Jesus - He calls into question the way things are and points to the way things may be in the Kingdom of God.
