More Than One Person

Our Scriptures for this week point out how what we do depends on more than one person. Jesus told the disciples they would need an ongoing learning experience and someone to help them remember well. He gave them the hope brought the indwelling Spirit of God.

He also let them know the witness to the world would involve them. Rather than get sidetracked by Judas' (not Iscariot) question, Jesus opened up the possibilities when Jesus' followers were Jesus lovers who lived out His way in the world.

This means we will cross boundaries and move past our levels of comfort (Acts 16 passage) and look forward to the healing of the Nations (Revelation 22 passage).

Take some time to read through the texts. Then come back and add your thoughts. Let's learn, love and live Jesus' life together.

Pastor Todd posted his audio reflection on the texts here.

Jesus invites people into his life and his way. He takes what is and points to the new way of the Kingdom of God.  Come see what this journey is all about!

One way to think about the mission of Jesus - He calls into question the way things are and points to the way things may be in the Kingdom of God.
